About Sheyda
Hi, I’m Sheyda, a certified RYT-200 Yoga Teacher, trained in India at the Ashtanga Yoga Mysore School. My background includes Vinyasa Flow, Power Yoga, and Hatha Yoga, with a strong foundation in anatomy, alignment, breathwork, and adapting practices for all ages and abilities.
I also hold certifications in Adaptive Corrective Exercise, Adaptive Group Fitness Instruction, Adaptive Injury Prevention, Adaptive Stretching & Mobility, Adaptive Weight Loss, and CPR/AED, allowing me to safely guide individuals with diverse abilities and goals.
At Shey Yoga & Wellness, I offer private and group sessions in homes, offices, community centers, and events throughout Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. I work with people of all backgrounds, from those seeking strength and flexibility to individuals with specific physical or developmental needs.
My teaching style blends mindful movement, breath awareness, and strength-building techniques to support the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. Every session is thoughtfully customized to help reduce stress, improve focus, and leave you feeling more balanced and energized.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with beginners, busy professionals, seniors, and individuals with diverse needs. I love what I do and feel grateful to help people feel stronger, more confident, and connected through yoga. Every practice is designed to meet you exactly where you are, and build from there.
